New place

I'm sure you've all been wondering where I've been. No? Oh...

Anyway, I moved to a new place the other day, so I was busy packing a surprising amount of stuff. I've always thought I was the type of person to have very few belongings, especially as I arrived here with a suitcase and a cardboard box of belongings. It turns out that once you start putting those few belongings into boxes, it turns out to be rather a lot of stuff. Lucky I had friends to help carry them, isn't it.

So, there will be fewer tales of crazy dogs and other such goings on. They're only up the road, so there may well be tales at some stage, just not on a daily basis. In fact, tales from the apartment may well be few and far between, seeings as I now live alone in a nice quiet building. Although, there are neighbours, and they could turn out to be a source of entertainment, you never know.

It was a busy while, packing, unpacking, working out where to put things. Fun, but busy. So busy, in fact, I forgot today was ひなまつり (girl's day), which I'm pretty sure is an excuse for cake. Not like me to miss an opportunity for cake. Luckily, I'm going to see my friend and her baby tomorrow, maybe we can ignore the fact he's a boy and have cake anyway.

So, what have you all been up to lately? Do tell.

  1. Well...I just bought my first ADIDAS anything in my life. An uber cool pair of sunglasses with a head strap for sports. I'm 1/2 German and I always thought it was a French company and I don't like the former French president so I never knowingly spent a dime on anything French.

    oops!!

ANyway..besides straightening out my own ignorance I also bought some sparring gloves made in Japan..I think?

I'm doing my ab workout and I think I'm going to be confused with Brad Pitt? Yes..I'm pretty sure about that.

Besides being slightly less ignorant and in a happy little bubble...nothing much to report :)

  2. Bing still says that Japan is the place that she misses the most on her foreign travels. She's been to Africa, Berlin, Cambodia, Mexico and Denmark. Japan wins, hands down.

  3. A new place? Hurrah for privacy! I bet you're enjoying it. And yes, I was wondering where you'd gone off to. Figured you were training for another race or something.
